Major Achievements:

Received the Burkina Faso Presidential Prize prize for the success of new rice varieties which are helping to increase the rice productivity and production in Burkina Faso

Received the Japan International Koshihikari Rice Prize prize for his significant contributions to rice production in sub-Saharan Africa through the development of the lowland NERICA varieties.
