Bayesian econometric forecasting and policy analysis

Workshop Program

In this workshop different approaches to the implementation of Bayesian analysis for interesting problems in different areas of economics will be treated at a high and innovative level. We think about work in macroeconomics, microeconomics (eg. treatment effects), and also in the area of marketing where decision making plays an important role. At this one day conference, held at the Econometric and Tinbergen Institute of Erasmus School of Economics, this topic will be discussed and analyzed by a group of leading international researchers in the field. The conference is held at the end of the Annual Econometric and Tinbergen Institute Lectures, sponsored by Princeton University Press. The workshop is intended as a meeting place for theoretical and applied researchers in academia and professional organizations who work on the theme of the conference.

Please fill out the online registration form. Registration fee is € 150. Deadline for registration is June 7, 2015. The maximum number of participants for the workshop is 40. Registration is free for members and PhD students of Tinbergen Institute and ERIM. Participants are kindly requested to book their hotel themselves. Hotel Novotel Rotterdam Brainpark is within walking distance of the Woudestein Campus. Hotel Emma is located at the city center and is easily accessible by public transport.
